Minimum English language entry requirements

• Standard program: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, with no band less than 5.0
• Intensitve/accelerated program: IELTS minimum 6.0 or equivalent, with no band less than 5.5

The above are minimum requirements. Check with your provider for details of local entry requirements.

Age entry requirement

• You must be at least 17 years of age by 31 December to be eligible for admission to Monash University.
• If you do not meet the above criteria, but would otherwise have been offered a place, you will be offered a deferred place to be taken up when the age criterion is met.

Academic entry requirement

You must have Australian Year 11 or equivalent qualification to enter the Monash University Foundation Year.
